Abdul El-Sayed has become the Democratic nominee for Michigan’s U.S. Senate race and is now heading into the general election against Republican Mike Rogers. His campaign is also dealing with scrutiny over deleted YouTube videos and old posts about gun policy and defunding the police, which his team says do not reflect his current views.
