McKee picked up a Teamsters Local 251 endorsement, giving him a labor boost in the Democratic primary. But Foulkes still appears to have the broader endorsement edge after McKee missed the state party endorsement and she added several local committee backers. The race remains competitive with multiple declared candidates still working through ballot qualification. The endorsement split keeps the primary competitive, but Foulkes’ broader local Democratic support may slightly strengthen her position. McKee’s Teamsters backing helps him with labor voters and offsets some of that pressure.
