In UT-02, Rep. Blake Moore will face state Rep. Karianne Lisonbee in the June Republican primary after Moore lost the GOP convention vote but qualified for the ballot via signatures. Moore also led GOP fundraising in first-quarter reports. Separately, federal judges are weighing a lawsuit over Utah’s congressional map, which could still change 2026 district lines. Moore staying on the ballot keeps the GOP primary competitive but does not change the party-of-winner outlook on its own. Ongoing map litigation and ballot disputes add uncertainty around the race’s eventual boundaries and field.
