Mike Minogue won the Massachusetts GOP convention endorsement with 70.4% of delegates and then added endorsements from RNC members Brad Wyatt and Janet Fogerty. Brian Shortsleeve qualified for the ballot, while Mike Kennealy fell short of the threshold. Another report says all three GOP hopefuls were trailing Gov. Maura Healey by about 20 points in polling. The convention win and added endorsements likely strengthen Minogue’s position in the nomination market. Shortsleeve qualifying for the ballot keeps a viable alternative in the race, which could limit certainty.
