Flint’s latest census estimate shows the city’s population fell again in 2025, and prior data was revised to show a decline in 2024 as well. The other item is a community event where Mayor Sheldon Neeley honored Trey McKenney; it has no clear election impact. Little direct impact on the mayoral market. The population report may add background pressure on the incumbent, but it does not change the race itself.
